The mission of The Buckeye Blood Club at The Ohio State University is to coordinate and promote university programs with the goal of collecting blood donations, promote a culture of volunteering and community activism amongst Ohio State students, educate the community about the fundamental principles and importance of blood donations and emergency preparedness, all while cultivating lasting friendships for members of the club and the supporting community.
The Buckeye Blood Club at OSU is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our club is aimed at providing at spreading awareness of the benefits of donating blood and the impact it has on others. Not only do we raise awareness about donating blood we have other opportunities of getting involved like raising disaster awareness through storm the dorms, and joining the internship too!
Helping The Community One Donation at a Time
At the Buckeye Blood Club, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in promoting college students to donate blood. In an event held annually in November against University of Michigan, we take our rivalry off the field to see who can raise the most blood donations.
